Synthetic fixture — not the UIProof product or a customer UI

Review pattern

A mobile card clips its own action button

A fixed-height, overflow:hidden card renders an "Invite teammate" button past its own visible bottom edge on a 375×667 viewport. Switching to min-height + overflow:visible restores it.

What was actually checked

Viewport 375×667 · Chromium (Chrome for Testing) 153.0.8010.12

Before: invite button is clippedPASS

containerOverflow: hidden · buttonBottom 351.75px vs containerBottom 296.19px · clipped by 55.56px

After: invite button is not clippedPASS

containerOverflow: visible · buttonBottom 351.75px vs containerBottom 366.75px · 15px of clearance

Reproduction

node review-pattern-evidence/01-mobile-invitation-clipped/capture.mjs (Node + playwright-core; loads the fixtures below over file:// and screenshots both states)

Fixture: review-pattern-evidence v1, scenario 01, captured 2026-09-17

What this doesn't prove

  • Synthetic, hand-built HTML/CSS fixture — not a capture of the live UIProof product or any real customer UI.
  • Assertion is limited to client-side DOM geometry (getBoundingClientRect + computed overflow) at one fixed viewport; no claim about other viewports, browsers, or real device rendering.
  • No network, no server, no auth, no email, no persistence is exercised or claimed.

Provenance: Hand-authored standalone HTML/CSS fixture, executed once via a disposable Playwright-managed Chromium; not derived from a real customer UI. Editorially approved by Controller review on 2026-09-17.
