Product status

What works now. What needs setup. What's still planned.

This is the same registry the homepage and pricing page draw from, so the three can't quietly say different things. Whether a capability exists is tracked separately from whether you can currently pay for it. See also how we label evidence itself on the evidence levels page.

Current

Proof Studio

Versioned release history
Free (early access)
Every release keeps an immutable record of its evidence and a separate record of what was in scope to check, so a changed screenshot and a changed agreement about what to check are never confused with each other.
  • • Up to 200 releases per board (initial limit, enforced before the release is created)
Import or upload screenshot evidence
Free (early access)
Bring screens in from the browser uploader, or from an existing Playwright/Site Atlas report using the CLI importer. Imports never auto-publish.
  • • Browser upload: up to 12 images per release, PNG/JPG/WebP, 3 MB each
  • • CLI importer: up to 100 screens per release
Reported check results
Free (early access)
Attach your own test runner's pass/fail/skip/blocked results to a release. UIProof labels them "reported," not independently verified — required checks that were skipped or blocked stay in the denominator instead of being dropped from the score.
Private, role-based collaboration
Free (early access)
Owner, editor, commenter, and viewer roles with row-level access control and no anonymous grants. Share links are revocable and invitations are single-use.
Selected-release sharing
Free (early access)
Publish specific releases or screens to a review link when you're ready to show someone. Private collaborator notes stay private even after a release is published.
Moderated feedback
Free (early access)
Attach feedback to a screen and a version, with invited reviewers on scoped roles. Public-view comments from non-collaborators or viewer-role collaborators require owner approval before appearing publicly. Owner, editor, and commenter feedback is approved immediately.
Export scorecards, contact sheets, and timelapses
Free (early access)
Generate PNG release scorecards, contact sheets, and flow overviews, plus silent, source-image evolution/flow/announcement videos with separate SRT captions. These are real exports built from synthetic or imported source images — not screen recordings of anyone clicking through the app.
  • • Video export: up to 24 frames per export, 720p, MP4 where supported (otherwise WebM)
  • • Contact sheets: up to 12 screens
Portable storyboard export
Free (early access)
Export a release's flow as a portable JSON storyboard. Source image URLs keep their existing access controls — exporting doesn't change who can see them.

Screenshot-monitoring product

Multi-viewport capture and pixel diff
Billed today
Playwright-driven multi-viewport screenshot capture with pngjs pixel-level diffing, plus Gemini-based AI severity classification (intentional / cosmetic / regression). A separate, older capability from Proof Studio.
Deploy-triggered capture
Billed today
A generic webhook, authenticated with a dashboard-issued API key, triggers a capture from any CI step, including a GitHub Actions step. There is no published, installable GitHub Action.
Email and webhook alerts
Billed today
Regression alerts are sent by email or a generic webhook when a capture triggers one. Slack and Discord are not implemented.
Dashboard-managed API keys
Billed today
API keys created under Settings back both the deploy webhook and the persona-review API.
Requires configuration

Built, but not turned on yet

The code exists and fails closed rather than running unauthenticated — it just needs an operator to set a secret before it actually runs.

Scheduled capture
Billed today
Scheduled captures are gated behind a bearer-token secret (CRON_SECRET) that fails closed when unset — the endpoint returns an error instead of running rather than allowing unauthenticated requests through. That secret is not currently configured, so scheduled capture doesn't run yet; it needs configuration, not code, to turn on.

Free (early access)
A four-release synthetic demo board you can explore at /proof/demo without an account. Illustrative, not a customer board.

Automatically rerun approved checks against a new commit before calling a release ready. Not built yet.
Client-scoped agency spaces
Not available to purchase
Separate client workspaces, approval history, and branded reports for agencies managing more than one client.
Local, open-source edition
Not available to purchase
A credential-free, self-hosted edition of the review canvas. The original code lives in a private codebase pending extraction — nothing is published yet.
